National Consortium for Paraprofessional Training in Deafblindness
Roles and Responsibilities
Oversee all grant activities.
Develop the three semester courses including practicum experience.
Develop print and multimedia curriculum materials.
Develop on-line components of coursework.
Collaborate with Consortium members to accomplish grant objectives.
Coordinate evaluation activities as directed by the external evaluator.
Facilitate field-based experiences as appropriate in their state.
Participate in recruitment efforts as appropriate.
Collaborate on efforts to ensure that the coursework interfaces with their state paraprofessional standards.
Support efforts related to dissemination of information, institutionalization, and replication.
Document their experiences.
Provide needed input into development and planning activities.
Provide the link to their respective programs to ensure that the coursework is accepted for delivery.
Identify an Instructor of Record.
Conduct recruitment activities.
Support implementation and evaluation of the three semester courses.
Document their experiences.

Support training activities with the provision of current, up-to-date materials.
Support assignments and practicum experiences with topical information and resources for students and instructors as needed.
Collaborate on any dissemination activities.
National Paraprofessional Consortium
Provide leadership and guidance related to the national paraprofessional issues.
Support each of the four sites as they work with their individual state systems.
Facilitate Project presentation at their national conferences.
National Technical Assistance Consortium (NTAC)
Support grant activities related to systems’ change.
Project Consultants
Provide expertise and guidance to all grant activities
